**End Customer: all Basler customers using the Basler pylon Camera Suite and the pylon Supplementary Package for MPEG-4 for developing their own applications that are not offered for Sale to End Customers are perceived as End Customer. End Customers do not need to conclude any licenses for using the MPEG-4 encoder in their End Products****.

***OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer): all Basler customers using the Basler pylon Camera Suite and the pylon Supplementary Package for MPEG-4 for developing their own applications that will be Sold to End Customers under the OEM’s brand are perceived as OEM. OEMs need to conclude the MPEG-4 Visual License directly with MPEG LA (http://www.mpegla.com) and are responsible for paying applicable royalties for using the MPEG-4 encoder associated with the branded End Products**** they offer.

****End Product: any customer application that includes the MPEG-4 technology (e.g. a PC or a single-board computer on which a Basler camera(s) is operated together with the pylon Camera Software Suite and the pylon Supplementary Package for MPEG-4) is perceived as End Product.
